Emergency Protocol Called - February 3, 2026
A shelter in place was called today to allow school administration and EMS the space they needed to respond to a medical emergency in one of our classrooms. During period three, staff moved students out of the HUB to the Learning Commons and others remained safely inside their classrooms. School proceeded as normal for a brief period until the situation resolved, and the All Clear was called. We will always inform parents once it is safe to do so, sharing basic information about the situation that has occurred to protect the privacy of the individuals involved. We are grateful to our staff for their quick action and to students for being respectful and calm.
The families of those who were personally affected have received direct communication from school administration. Emergencies at school can cause concern, and we encourage families to become familiar with our emergency response protocols, so you are aware of what to expect in these types of situations.
