Glen Mori

Glen Mori began coaching the Medicine Hat High School Track and Field Team in 2008. Glen was originally designated as the sprint/mid-distance/distance coach. Although he continues to work with the distance team Glen has also transitioned to working with the pole vault team along side his wife Tonya. He takes great pride in the development of the team as it has grown from a very small entity to the ASAA 4A Provincial Champions in 2013, 2017 and 2018. He believes sport is a means to provide every child with the opportunity for maximum personal growth and development in their lives physically, socially, and mentally. Also that the foundation to any successful program is based around positive relationships and hard work. Glen has also served as the Head Coach of the MHHS Cross Country Running Team since 2008.

Previous to coaching track, Glen was the Head Coach of the Lethbridge Summer Swim Club, as well as an Assistant Coach in the Excalibur Swim Club.  He swam with the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns and served as captain during his last competitive season in 2003. Glen was a CIS National qualifier. Glen also competed in triathlons and raced with the local cycling club in Lethbridge during university.
